Make great things happen this Earth Day!Day of Action

Every year, thousands of people across the globe take action to improve their communities by volunteering with United Way for an annual Day of Action. This year, Day of Action will take place with projects throughout the day on April 22nd at locations across both Kankakee and Iroquois Counties.

 

April 22nd, 2025 - Day of Action Projects:

9 AM - 10:30 AM | City of Watseka - Legion Park Cleanup

9:30 AM - 11 AM | City of Kankakee (6th Ward) Community Garden Projects

10 AM - 12 PM | City of Kankakee - 1st Ward - Neighborhood Street Clean-Up

11 AM - 1 PM | KCCSI + Salvation Army - Painting & Playground Restoration

12 PM - 1 PM | City of Kankakee (5th Ward) - Soldiers' Creek Beautification

1 - 2 PM | City of Kankakee (4th Ward) Kensington Park Cleanup

2 - 3 PM | City of Kankakee (3rd Ward) City Entrance Cleanup

2 - 3:30 PM | City of Kankakee (7th Ward) Planting & Street Cleanup

3:30 - 5 PM | Limestone Library - Grounds Beautification

4 - 5:30 PM | Bradley - Perry Farm Creek Cleanup

KCC STUDENTS - Projects at Jeffers Park, Kankakee
