Tornado Response Volunteer Interest Form

Thank you for your willingness to help our community recover from recent tornado damage. By completing this form, you are letting our team know you are interested in volunteering for cleanup, support, and recovery efforts as needs arise.

​

Volunteer opportunities may include debris removal, supply distribution, or other assistance depending on community needs.

​

Volunteer coordination is being supported by United Way on behalf of our region’s COAD, the County of Kankakee, and the American Red Cross.

• Aroma Park Methodist Church  | 201 W. 3rd St., Aroma Park​

  • 10 AM - 6 PM - Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturdays

  • For other times, please contact to arrange an appointment.

  • Accepting: Bedding sets (comforters & sheets), Rakes & Brooms, Cleaning Supplies, and Bathroom paper products.

  • Providing a compassionate listening ear, along with supportive care, light refreshments, and a comfortable space to rest and recharge.

  • Week of April 6 - Monday-Friday 10 AM - 4 PM

  • Week of April 13 switching to Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 10 AM - 4 PM and by appointment 

  • Hours: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

  • Accepting: Repair and Cleanup items, Nonperishable food items, Can openers, Protein Bars, Juice, Gatorade, Lysol wipes, Bleach, Paper towels, Toliet paper, Heavy duty extension cords, Coolers, Charcoal, Kids snack, microwave meals*

  • Volunteers needed to assist with distribution and sorting of incoming items

  • Donation Drop-Off & Pick-Up Location

  • Accepting: Nonperishable food, Baby Formula, Diapers, Bottle Water, Hygiene items, Cleaning supplies, 1st Aid Kits, Flashlights & Batteries and Pet food. ​
