UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF

 

The

United Way
of Kankakee County would like to thank the community for their terrific support of the 2010 Campaign Kick-Off. Special thanks goes to all who attended the Montgomery Gentry concert, the many volunteers, sponsors, partner agencies, concert producer, Hidden Cove Sportsplex, Jason and the Haymakers, Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry and their band. United Way is pleased to have brought this level of entertainment to the area.

 

                                              

 

United Way also thanks the community for all of its feedback since the concert. There are some great suggestions for improvements. Over the next few weeks, we will meet with each of the concert’s partners to review the concerns, feedback and suggestions.  

 

 

We greatly appreciate all of our donors who continually show they are dedicated and generous people. United Way’s annual donation campaign will remain the cornerstone of how we fund 46 programs within our 24 partner agencies. However, those programs and agencies are being strained and we recognize the need to develop creative and innovative ways to increase awareness and reach the 2010 campaign goal of $1,100,000. As long as there are needs in Kankakee County ,

United Way
is committed to meeting the challenge.

2009-03-04 - 85 Percent

As the United Way of Kankakee County campaign is nearing the end, there is still time for you to help the community.  The United Way is currently at $865,790, which is 85% of this year’s campaign goal of $1,025,000. 

 

If you have yet to make your annual pledge to the United Way of Kankakee County, and wish to still get involved please do so today!  You can make a donation online at www.MyUnitedWay.org by credit card, or call the office at 815-932-7476 to set up another method of completing your pledge.

 

Also, don’t forget that coming soon is the United Way Annual Dinner.  This dinner will take place on March 26, at the Hilton Garden Inn.  Tickets are $35 per person or $280 for a table.  Reserve your tickets before it’s too late!  You can do so by calling the United Way office.
